Our Programs
PEE WEE POWER 1 & 2 FOR GRADES K-3:
This lively workshop uses storytelling and physical
demonstrations to provide youngsters with the tools
to overcome limiting thoughts and negative attitudes. The objective of this workshop is to teach children to
never, never give up, to respect other students, parents
and those in authority, and to dream big dreams. If you don’t call, we can’t make it fit- just the way you want it… 973.983.9607…
“Every year I search
for ways to inspire staff and, most assuredly, the children
to be all
they can be. It was my hope that your assembly/
workshop would be uplifting and affirming.
I was not disappointed. Your sincerity
and integrity exuded throughout the children’s
assembly and the parent workshop.
Truly your goal to inspire and motivate
was achieved.
I certainly hope we can utilize your extensive
talents in the future to solidify our students’ resolve
to do their best. Thank you for helping our students and staff
build dreams.”
-Don Bochicchio, Principal,
Waretown (NJ) Elementary School POWER
WORKSHOP 1, 2 & 3 FOR GRADES 3-8:
This entertaining program is designed to help
students develop a dream, vision, and purpose
that can be actualized through their studies. Using thought provoking stories children are
motivated to win the battle over fear, utilize positive
affirmations, and build their self-esteem. The
character education segment includes a strong
anti-gang message and emphasizes racial harmony.
It helps students develop bridge-building
techniques to establish healthy relationships
with others, understanding the difference
between short term-pleasure and long-term
happiness, and learn the value of goal setting. There’s so much we can do with this age group. Call for more info… 973.983.9607…
“… I
thought the assembly was excellent! I would like you guys to
come back to
perform your second show”
-Jenna, student,
Grant Central Six Elementary School,
South Plainfield, NJ POWER WORKSHOP FOR HIGH SCHOOLS:
Designed to meet the needs of older students,
this powerful and informative workshop offers
advanced goal setting techniques, shows students
the benefits of a life in balance, and helps
them to develop the critical social skills needed
for success following graduation. If you call us, then we can connect with your students… 973.983.9607…
“ ... I just wanted
to compliment you both on what an outstanding job you did
today in our school. I had such a great
feeling afterwards. What you guys do is
such a great way to reach out to kids my
age, especially with the world we live in
today. The message you sent out was
AWESOME… Students in my school
need to be exposed to more stuff like
what went on today. It could change
their life… Thank you for your time and
keep up the GREAT work."
-Angela Frappolli, Senior,
Florence (NJ) High School
THE BEST DAY AT YOUR SCHOOL
(our opinion) would include:
- Two 45-60 minute (age appropriate) assemblies that would
cover the whole school
- 90 minutes of follow up in small groups
(classes) to answer questions, re enforce some messages,
talk about readers
are leaders and pump up the night session with parents.
Sometimes this involves meeting with small groups of at
risk students.
- A gift of 1 book, our BESTSELLER Top Secrets of Success
4
Kids, given to every student and teacher in your school.
- An evening program for parents titled 10 Power Tips
for the Toughest Job That You Will Ever Have
Being
a Mom or Dad. We usually get a good turnout not only
because of advanced advertising but because the kids get
so excited and somehow get their parents to attend.
- Of course, we can adapt all our programs to fit the needs
of your particular school or organization. Give us a call... 973.983.9607...
What Grown-Ups are Saying (scroll
down for Kids) Matthew
Glowski, principal, Alpine (N.J.) Public School- 'Russell and Lin gave the kids hope in a society that
is deluged in negative
media ... as well as ways to make commitments that will be helpful
throughout their lives. This was a real worthwhile program that
we all enjoyed... they had everyone’s attention (K-8) for
the entire hour+... that is an achievement.'
Mary McLaughlin, Ramsey (N.J.) Alliance Against
Alcohol and Drug Abuse- ' I think that the Power Workshop
is one of the best programs
(and I really am a critic). Russell and Lin give kids a lot of
empowerment and I really appreciate that they spent the day with
us...'
Ron Myer, v-principal, Burnet Middle School, Union,
N.J.- 'During the school year, we have made many attempts
to motivate our children
as well as get them interested in things that are good for
them. Until the Power Workshop, we have failed to
find anything really
interesting and really motivating. We've never had the children
be such a good audience ...there was action ... it was exciting
and I highly recommend it. We can't wait to have them back.'
Sandy Smith, Student Assistance Coordinator, Chatham,
N.J.- 'It was great. The kids were real attentive,
it was a very
strong,
positive message and we look forward to having them back
next year.'
Ed Agresta, Union City Schools (NJ Teacher of the
Year)- '...dynamic, moving presentation. I'm sure Russell and
Lin get a standing
ovation wherever they go.'
Joseph Pompeo, principal, Wallington High School,
NJ 'I want to thank you for coming to our school and
sharing
your message
with
our students. I strongly believe in everything you had
to say. I try to instill the same types of ideas when
working with
students. Having goals, setting priorities, working hard
and developing
a positive mental attitude are critical to being successful.
Many
staff members and students told me how much they enjoyed
your program. Words such as spellbinding, riveting, dynamic
and
inspirational were used to describe their reactions.
I found
it amazing that
you were able to hold the attention of such a large group
for over
an hour. This is a tribute to your preparation, enthusiasm
and firm belief in what you have to say. Once again,
thanks a lot.
It was great to see you. I hope all of your plans work
out. Knowing what I do now, I'm sure they will. If I
can be of
any help, do
not hesitate to call (973-777-6141).'
Rob Gilbert, PhD, Associate Professor, Montclair
State University, NJ- '... absolutely outstanding program.
Every student in
America should be introduced to Russell and Lin Jones.
I just saw the
Power Workshop assembly at a jr. high school in Clifton,
NJ. I have been
to hundreds of assemblies in my life. Without a doubt,
this was the best I have ever seen. The kids were mesmerized...
I actually
think Russell and Lin broke through and that this will
be
something they will never forget. I actually think
that lives were changed
today. (They) are fantastic speakers but, more important,
they empower young people.'
Ann Nigrone, Assembly Coordinator, Christopher
Columbus Middle School, Clifton, NJ- ' We were absolutely
delighted with
the Power Workshop. Our 7th and 8th grade students
truly loved
Lin and Russell.
I have never seen our kids more attentive... ever.
The messages were strong and direct... our students
really
have something
to think about.'
Bobbi Platukis, principal, Franklin (N.J.) Elementary
School- ' We have had a series of programs similar
to this and
the Power Workshop was by far the best we have
had. It was well
prepared,
the direction of it was clear, the messages were
clear. The kids were truly appreciative of what
was said as
well as
what they
did
see. I would highly recommend it.'
Joseph Boyle, principal, Midland School, Rochelle
Park, N.J.- ' Russ and Lin Jones did an excellent
performance
today.
The kids
were thrilled. They are great performers and
we would love to have them back.'
Rick Erck, v-principal, Lincoln-Roosevelt School,
Roxbury, N.J.- ' Our students greatly enjoyed
your program.
While the feats
of strength captured their attention, your
message about developing a positive, healthy outlook
on life was certainly
heard too.
There
was much 'buzzing' among the students about
how
much they loved the program. Thank you very
much ... we
will see
you in the
future!'
Joann Cowing, principal, Mt. Arlington (N.J.)

more
enlightened than when
they entered. Thank you, Lin and
Russell.'
Father Anthony Lipari, Saint John
the Evangelist School, Bergenfield,
N.J.- 'Thanks for
the opportunity to recommend
your services
to other schools. I was highly
impressed with your approach

… I wanted to get back to you to say how much I enjoyed the program
you presented to the kids at Oak View School on March 11th. It was a day of
inspiration
and motivation. In the afternoon, my girls,
Chelsea and Emily, couldn't stop talking about the stories you told. They continued
through
the dinner conversation with telling
stories to our family who was visiting from England. Chelsea continues to read
her pledge
card every day.
Your
positive attitude
is working
at our
house. Chelsea
had a
spelling bee
at school
this week.
Out of
twenty kids
in her
class, she
stayed on
until the
elimination round
was reduced
to four
kids. Only
two could
advance to
the next
round. Then
she missed
her word.
She was
pleased with
herself when
she told
me this
story. I
told her
she was
a winner
for doing
a great
job. She
replied, 'just
like Jimmy
Black!' The
teachers were
impressed. Here
are some
of their
comments.
- 'The children really seemed to get
his message and were excited
about it .' 'This assembly related well to our Health and Guidance curriculum.'
- 'Great
motivational workshop for all ages! Well liked by students.'
- 'Wonderful-
the children loved it.'
- 'Very age appropriate, entertaining
and motivating.'
- 'Thank you for the opportunity to
attend this assembly program.
It proved to be beneficial to all!'
- 'Good techniques to build self-esteem
and setting goals'
Thanks again for a wonderful program. Please keep up the good
work.
